From vegetarian and birria to beef, chicken, pork, and even breakfast or dessert varieties, tacos cater to every taste. This versatile dish has deep roots, dating back over 9,000 years to Mexican miners who would use tortillas to hold their meals, enjoying them either on the job or at home with their families.
BBQ

BBQ is another beloved North American staple that brings everyone together. It encompasses a wide range of meats, either smoked or grilled to perfection. These flavorful cuts are often paired with an array of sides, rich sauces, and a choice of bread. The smoking process, which can take hours, is carefully managed to achieve unmatched flavor, tenderness, and juiciness, making BBQ a true culinary art form.
South America
Next on your journey around the globe, we head to South America, a region where flavors span from the traditional to the adventurous, depending on your destination. Here, you’ll discover an endless array of culinary delights—hearty soups, mouthwatering meats, flavorful sauces and dips, and irresistible desserts.
Ceviche

Ceviche is traditionally prepared using raw fish or shrimp, combined with fresh vegetables, cilantro, and marinated in tangy citrus juice. The acidity from the citrus effectively “cooks” the protein, eliminating the need for heat. You can enjoy ceviche with utensils or scoop it up with chips as a flavorful dip. Its refreshing and light profile makes it an excellent appetizer or a complementary side dish for any meal.
Bandeja Paisa

At first glance, you might mistake it for an English breakfast, but a closer look reveals its unique twist. This is Colombia’s take on the classic English breakfast, enhanced with a diverse array of flavors. Naturally, we had to include it, as both the English breakfast and Bandeja Paisa are iconic dishes you can enjoy anywhere in the country or easily prepare at home.
Europe
Journeying across the seas to the heart of classical cuisine, Europe offers a treasure trove of elegant, rich, and historically significant dishes. Many of the foods we enjoy today either originated in Europe or were deeply influenced by its culture. From the medieval era to the modern day, these timeless recipes continue to captivate and inspire.
Europe offers a diverse array of culinary delights. Iconic dishes like fish and chips, gyros, pizza, hamburgers, bratwurst, and croissants highlight the continent’s rich food culture. Today, we’re focusing on two dishes: one widely celebrated and another lesser known, depending on individual familiarity. Both are beloved by many, though not everyone may recognize them.
Paella

Local rice cooked with wine and savory stock. Combined with fresh seafood and vegetable then baked in the oven. Paella is not just the name of the food but the pan its typically cook in. Now we know it as Spain’s national dish, but it wasn’t always that way. Paella is another one of those dishes that you can personalize to your taste with any spice, vegetable, or protein you prefer.

Pierogi or potato dumpling whatever you decide to call it is a savory dish that can complement any dinner. Seasoned mashed potato inside a dumpling, steamed then seared in a pan. Typically served with onions and peppers this is a humble dish that will satisfy you hunger. This is a dish that is a perfect example of food telling Poland’s food story.
Asia
Time-honored traditions may fade elsewhere, but in this region of the world, they continue to flourish, offering the globe irresistible and delectable bites. Asia one of the more historic places to visit along with some of the most loved food. The amount of cooking knowledge is only rivaled by that of French chefs.
On our stop where we will take a look at some dishes that while popular vary from different parts of Asia. Asia has brought us many wonders such as rice, ramen, sushi, kimchi, spice and so much more. We will focus on some dishes that are popular amongst the countries but may vary in style or preperation.
Dumplings

Dumplings are a cherished culinary tradition, often passed down through generations within families. Delicate, hand-rolled dough is filled with flavorful combinations of meats and herbs, then prepared through boiling, steaming, or pan-frying. Rich with cultural significance, dumplings embody a unique sense of identity and heritage. Today, they come in countless variations and styles, each offering a delicious experience worth savoring.
Shawarma

Shawarma, a popular street food from Turkey, is similar to the Greek gyro. It typically consists of your choice of meat, such as chicken, lamb, a lamb-beef mixture, or falafel for vegetarians. It is often served with hummus or tahini sauce and accompanied by fresh vegetables. The meat is cooked on a vertical rotisserie, a method that gives it a unique and flavorful taste. You may have heard of it from Iron man joking about it at the end of The Avengers.

Few places offer such a unique experience where every region boasts its own distinct food identity. Presenting a blend of flavors, cooking styles, cultural influences, and local specialties. It’s a testament to a rich heritage that often emphasizes the importance of nutritionally balanced meals.
Jollof Rice/Couscous

Two iconic and celebrated dishes from Africa are Jollof Rice and Couscous. Couscous earns its place here due to its versatility and the similarity in preparation methods to Jollof Rice. As a staple grain used across the continent, Couscous comes in various regional adaptations, with Moroccan Couscous being particularly renowned. Jollof, on the other hand, is a dish that can be made with a variety of grains, as the defining feature lies in its rich, flavorful preparation—a tomato-based broth infused with spices and herbs.
Peri Peri Chicken

Peri Peri, meaning “pepper pepper,” is a flavorful and spicy chicken dish that leaves a lasting impression on your taste buds. Bursting with bold spices, it can be adjusted for those who prefer a milder kick. For maximum flavor, marinate the chicken overnight and cook it the next day to let the spices fully infuse.
